Term 3 Reflection

Term 3 Reflection.

This term I have enjoyed the school production. I enjoyed this activity because I had fun making props and playing the ukulele with my friends. Learning about landforms was new for me I learned lots about them. I am really proud of myself because I Had a great term with my friends and my teacher.

Next term I need to come to school more to learn even better.

                               Skateland  

We were all so excited. We were waiting in line to hire skates. It was the biggest line I had seen. But at last it came to the end it was our turn next my mum paid for us. We got our inline skates put them on and we took off onto the rink. Me, Mengchun, Taharangi and Brodie started to play tag but Mengchun didn’t know how to skate fast so we went easy on her. A while later a loud noise came from the speaker it was game time. All you had to do was listen to different beeps and do the actions they told us to do. I loved that game! Hard but fun.

After we all got hungry so we all went to my mum who was sitting down somewhere. We asked her if we could have something to eat. She gave us our drink bottles and she shared some chicken chips Yum “thanks Glennis” we all

said. Back onto the rink and a guy came onto the rink too he said it was racing time! So the people who wanted to race sat in the middle of the rink.

First he said 12 under race was first We all wanted to go but most of them were huge so we decided not too. Anyways we had 2 hours of fun. But it was time to go home. What a great day I had can’t wait for next time.

My wacky Tale

The Beach

Hooray! Summer is finally here, and that means we can go to the beach! Today, my family is going to Auckland 

Beach, and I can bring a friend with me. I decide to invite my best friend Orica. I know Orica will want to go with us. She thinks going to the beach is pretty!

We start our beach day by watching the sunrise, and then eating breakfast at Uncle Logan's Pancake Hut. I always get Pie flavored pancakes.

After breakfast we splashed the waves, go Splashing for seashells, and pushed a sandcastle. Then we eat the lunch we packed for the beach. It's my favorite—pizza sandwiches. The only time pizza sandwiches are not so Cool is when you drop them in the sand.

By 10:30, everyone's had enough of the beach. But Auckland Beach is fun at night, too! There is a really Big boardwalk. It's always crowded with people. Would you believe we saw my teacher Mrs Miller there, eating a huge banana split?

There are a lot of cool shops on the boardwalk. You can get a little hermit Panda, but make sure your mom and dad say it's okay! My favorite store is the jewelry store. Orica and I each buy a rope bracelet that will swims when it gets wet. Pretty Sweet!

By 8:00, we're all ready to head home. I usually fall asleep on the ride home. I can't wait to go to Auckland Beach again.
